Neeraj Pandey’s Sikandar Ka Muqaddar – starring Avinash Tiwary, Jimmy Shergill and Tamannaah Bhatia in lead roles, premiered on Netflix on Friday, November 29. Following its release, the film’s leading stars – Tiwary and Bhatia, held a special watch party for their friends and pictures of the same have now made their way online. Post the release of their Netflix film, Tamannaah Bhatia and Avinash Tiwary co-hosted a watch party for their friends at the actress’ residence. Aside from the lead stars, actor Vijay Varma, Sunny Hinduja, Mitakshara Kumar and many others close one were in attendance. Sharing pictures from the watch party with Avinash, Vijay and others, Tamannaah wrote, “Watch Party with the cutiessssss. Sikandar Ka Muqaddar.”

Sikandar Ka Muqaddar is a crime drama revolving around a diamond heist. It narrates the ups and downs leads Investigating Officer Jaswinder Singh (Shergill) faces as he tried to solve the case and has three suspect – the robbed jewellry store’s long-time employee Mangesh Desai (Mehta), another employee Kamini (Tamannaah Bhatia), and computer techie Sikandar Sharma (Avinash Tiwary). The conflict between Singh and Sharma forms the main plot of the film.

Bollywood Bubble reviewed Sikandar Ka Muqaddar. Giving the film an average rating, the reviewer noted, “Avinash Tiwary and Jimmy Shergill’s performances as Sikandar Sharma and Chief investigator Officer Jaswinder Singh, respectively, is impressive” while also noting, “Neeraj Pandey’s writing seems all over the place with way to many twist and turns for a 2.5 hour film that still manage to make you loose interest.”
